A form of lease under German and Swiss law in which the tenant receives not only the right to use a property but also the right to operate it and derive income from it. In the hotel sector, Pacht may therefore cover the hotel building, fixtures, equipment, and the right to operate the property as a hotel, distinguishing it from a straightforward property rental.
