BOQ

Bill of quantities (BOQ) is the uniform and detailed document issued to tenderers for the calculation of a comparable price quote. A BOQ requires that the design is comprehensive as it gives specific measured (quantity, dimensions, volume, weight, quality or time) quantities of the items of work and equipment identified by the drawings and specifications in the tender documentation. The BOQ is usually prepared by the cost consultant, quantity surveyor, or another specialised technical consultant.
